The Walnut Creek Concert Band, under the direction of Harvey Benstein, will presents “Symphonic Dances,” on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at 7:30 pm, in the Lesher Center for the Arts.

The band repertoire is full of exciting and beautiful symphonic dances, from John Corigliano’s Gazebo Dances to Alfred Reed’s Armenian Dances and Clifton William’s Symphonic Dance No. 3.

There will be a special appearance by Joseph Lulloff, professor of saxophone from Michigan State University, performing A Tribute to Rudy Wiedoeft and a few other surprises!

For twenty-nine years the Walnut Creek Concert Band has proudly served the community as the Official Concert Band of the City of Walnut Creek, presenting performances of quality music for the Concert Band at the Lesher Arts Center and throughout the community.

Ticket Prices: Adult $17.00; Seniors $14.00. Free admission for students.
